PRESS RELEASE
Mark Christensen’s, new novel, “11th
Commandment” has been released and is available through bookstores as well as
Amazon Kindle and Barnes and Noble Nook. Mark will be doing book signings and
speaking engagements in his 500 city USA book tour. His novel has been
nominated for 2013 Pulitzer Prize!
11th Commandment is a poignant and
powerful exploration of the tragedies wrought by the victimization and abuse of
children. Drawing the reader with insight and dead-on observation of the
atrocious tragedy of child abuse committed daily by American Adults, no one
will close its pages without an impression of the devastation suffered by so
many of our children. It will be the readers who will champion for The 11th
Commandment, “Honor Thy Children,” be etched into every bible printed.
Described by Kirkus Review as
being; Compelling, Explicit and well-constructed. “While it is evident the
narrative was composed with care, it is a well-constructed cautionary tale of
the problems facing families trapped in generational patterns of abuse.”
Mr.
Christensen is an advocate for children throughout the world, having been in
foster care for many years, and later adopting seven children. Mark has
dedicated the book with a picture of his son, Cyler Brice Christensen, who was
thrown down a flight of stairs at the age of 3, suffering a traumatic brain
injury. Sadly, Cyler passed away at the age of 11 having given Mark the
inspiration to write the book that will show the children how to heal.
Mr.
Christensen is offering all religious congregations and abuse organizations
worldwide a ten percent donation from every book purchased by their members or
supporters, simply by uploading their receipt to the website.
